When I visited Austin mid-May, I made a point of checking out Roadhouse Relics - a custom neon sign shop and gallery of works by owner Todd Sanders. At first glance, the signs look like rescued or repaired vintage neon but Sanders creates them to look that way – employing weathering techniques to give that vintage feel. Here’s the man himself talking about his work to the Sailor Jerry Rum peeps (cool):
