I am in a huge makeup slump. I’ve never worn a lot, but I think I’m ready to learn how to properly dress up my face now and then. Especially my eyes – how beautiful is that whole look above? There are just so many brands to choose from. Which makeup counters give the best makeovers guys? Fill me in!

I’ve actually never had my makeup done at a beauty counter but I really think it is ‘luck-of-the-draw’. Everything I’ve learned about makeup and skincare has come from blogs, the wealth of knowledge out there is unbelievable! Canadian beauty blogs are often my favourites: beautyeditor.ca, beautycrazed.ca, beautyreflections.ca, thenotice.net -start from there and you have a virtually endless amount of blogs to check out and learn from!

I LOVE beautyeditor! Thanks for your other suggestions too. I guess im juat hesitant to buy product before I know how it looks on me, you know? Like eyeshadow palettes totally confound me. I’m a work in progress
