The Jan 2010 issue of Elle Canada featured a cover and inside spread of American “plus size” model Crystal Wrenn. I know this is kind of old news but I came across it today and thought the shoot was lovely – so nice to see actual T&A in clothes that were meant to accentuate them. Not loving how she looked a little short in some of the shots and she’s not at all – she’s 5″9. Would also like to point out (not to make the overwhelming majority of the women in Canada feel ‘plus’) that she’s also only a size 8.

*ED NOTE: Where are her armpits in the first photo? I couldn’t figure out what was weird about it until now. And what’s with the title of this blog post? Becomes a growing? I feel like it’s broken English. Meh.
